Live your life

This is a poem attributed to Chief Tecumseh of the Shawnee. It was read at the end of the Navy SEALs movie Act of Valor.

So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart.
Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and
demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life,
beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and its purpose in the service of your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.

Always give a word or a sign of salute when meeting or passing a
friend, even a stranger, when in a lonely place. Show respect to all
people and grovel to none.

When you arise in the morning give thanks for the food and for the joy
of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only
in yourself. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise ones
to fools and robs the spirit of its vision.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are
filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep
and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way.
Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

As for the movie, I've always wondered while watching why the conversation scenes were bad, while the action scenes looked very, very authentic. It stars real Navy SEALs people!

DAY 2: Draw an animal

4 hours. I don't usually have the patience. :)

Who knows how to fix problem? I can't access blogger sites. Google thinks I'm a robot and I get this message all the time:

They give me a captcha code to enter. The problem is, I don't get past it. It just gives me another captcha everytime. :(

DAY 1: Self-Portrait

While this looks like a vain post, it more than makes up for the lack of photos of yours truly in this blog. I made that self-portrait above yesterday for the drawing challenge I mentioned. My brother says it looks like a cartoon. I think it looks like my mother when she was younger. Sketches below are more accurate. They were made back in 2000-01 just so I could remember how my hair looked like. I rarely have my photos taken. :P
